The Language of Flowers is definitely light holiday reading, even with the slightly gritty start. Victoria has a stereotypical lucky break, and muddles her way to success.The Language of Flowers

I did like the little definitions of flower meanings, but as a book premise it never really won me over. Just a bit too cliché and daft that all these people would spend decades of their lives worrying about the precise definitions of flowers.

But if you like slightly fluffy fiction, a good use of a long train journey or similar.
